Best Hamburger Recipe

Almost everyone loves to use their own Best hamburger recipe for grilling hamburgers. I am sure your recipe is a great one also.

Here is a hamburger recipe you might just like. It may not be all that different from what you have been using. I have received a lot of compliments on the way I make hamburgers. Believe it or not, there is a technique for grilling hamburgers. At least I have one that serves me well.

Using the right hamburger recipe is a matter of personal choice.

Depending on how many people you will grill for will depend on the amount of food to mix up.

This recipe will feed about 10 (one per person)

My best hamburger recipe

2 lbs of lean hamburger meat

1 lbs of ground sausage, mild will

1 onion (I like the white or Vidalia for the sweetness.)

black pepper

salt

garlic powder

poultry seasoning

You will need a large bowl.

Cut and dice the onion.

Mix in the bowl, the 2 lbs of hamburger meat and the sausage. Just use your hands and squeeze it all together until you think it is mixed well.

Then salt/pepper as you like.

Add some garlic and poultry seasoning

Add the onion.

Mix well with hands again

Add a little more garlic and poultry seasoning and mix again.

Make into patties.

This recipe should make up about 10 patties.

By the way if you like turkey burgers just replace the hamburger meat with ground turkey meat.

The sausage will take the bland taste away.

Remember this is my best hamburger recipe, so make sure you cook the burgers medium well

Cooking

I think every person has their own way to grill. I like to heat grill to a medium heat for Hamburgers or turkey burgers. I also like to spray a little pam on the grill to keep burgers from sticking, place the burgers on the grill close the lid for a short time maybe 30 seconds to one minute, then turn over and do the same.

Now the burgers should be kind of hard (just firm) on both sides, I turn over a few more times. The next step is where some disagree. I take my spatula and flatten a little, not enough to mash all the juices out or mash through the grill. Just mash it enough to make the patties a little larger. If it helps you could place some tin foil for on grill to do this part.

I do like the burgers to be moist inside, now you know how I go about grilling hamburgers; you also have my best hamburgers recipe.
